Purpose of this Site This inaugural post provides some foundational information about the future development of this website and its projects. I’ve created a quasi-blog and several side projects to systematically organize the knowledge I’ve been gathering over the years. Perhaps by reading the materials here, you’ll find intellectual entertainment or inspiration for further exploration.

I hold a degree in philosophy from UŁ/UWr and have specialized in critical societal theories. My interests lie in depth psychology (as proposed by Jung), the study of myths (as explored by Eliade), and semiotics. I have also participated in a year-long seminar on manipulation. The works of the Italian semiotician, Umberto Eco — especially his ideas on paranoid thinking, model reader, and interpretation — have profoundly influenced my thinking. In fact, Eco’s concepts form the foundation of the Dadalo project.

Declaration of Apolitical Stance and AI I realize that initiating discourse about the concept of conspiracy theories and proving manipulation can, in today’s times, lead to political issues. This can attract hate generated by troll farms and instigated by individuals who gain political and financial advantages from creating and sustaining conspiracy theories. Such individuals do not want their narratives to be falsifiable and the mechanisms of manipulation examined. I would like to declare that in my analyses, I select materials based on my current interests.

signal.dadalo.pl is a private instance for community interaction in the fediverse powered by the Soapbox engine. It is used as an alternative and very niche content distribution channel in opposition to social media and tools offered by big tech. You’re asking why “signal”?
